Chief Executive Officer
Benjamin C. Krambeck serves as Chief Executive Officer of ClaimDOC, LLC. In this capacity, Mr. Krambeck is responsible for all staffing decisions, sales, marketing and distribution channel management. Mr. Krambeck was a co-founder of ClaimDOC in January 2013, and presently serves as the CEO of sister company Benefit Captive RE, LLC. (BCR), which is a group stop loss captive program management firm.
Prior to his time at BCR & ClaimDOC, Mr. Krambeck held a dual role as Regional Vice President with The TJS Group, a division of TrueNorth Companies, and also served the firm as a self-funded medical plan subject matter expert for the Top 100 insurance brokerage headquartered in Cedar Rapids, IA.
Mr. Krambeck served on the Iowa Association of Health Underwriters Board of Directors from 2006-2009, and his career began in the insurance industry as a Group Sales Representative for Sun Life Financial.
Mr. Krambeck is a licensed insurance agent and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa in 1997. He resides in Des Moines, IA with his wife, Jennifer, and his two daughters Emma and Hannah.
Tim Hyde serves as President of ClaimDOC, LLC. of Stuart, Florida. In this capacity, Mr. Hyde is responsible for all claims processes, member advocacy, account management, and business development. Previously, he served as Vice President at HealthSCOPE Benefits, the largest independent Third-Party Administrator (TPA) in the U.S. In his 14-year tenure at HealthSCOPE Benefits, Mr. Hyde’s primary focus pertained to new business sales; however, he oversaw a team of Account Managers dedicated to servicing and renewing current clients.
Mr. Hyde’s career has also included time as President of National Accounts at Cornerstone Benefits, a full-service life and health insurance brokerage firm, as well as engaging in the financial sector as a certified financial advisor for both Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley.
Mr. Hyde is a licensed insurance agent and received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. He resides in Little Rock, Arkansas with his wife, Kathryn, his son, Charley, and daughter, Molly.
Executive Vice President
Bruce Hansen serves as Executive Vice President for ClaimDOC, LLC. Mr. Hansen’s primary responsibility is oversight and reporting of revenue and expenses. His key role is working closely with clients, vendors and across all areas internally to execute special projects and ensure high-level delivery of the ClaimDOC mission.
Prior to joining ClaimDOC in 2016, Bruce spent 14 years at Principal Financial Group in retirement plan Consulting and Relationship Management where he partnered with advisor relationships to manage all services for a block of clients totaling $1.5 billion in assets. He also has an additional 5 years of experience in investment and commercial banking.
Mr. Hansen is a licensed insurance agent and is FINRA Series 7, 63 and 66 licensed. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management with Finance emphasis from Simpson College in 1997. He resides in Des Moines, IA with his wife, Tara, and their 3 daughters.
Senior Vice President & Chief Legal Officer
Amy Pellegrin serves as Senior Vice President & Chief Legal Officer of ClaimDOC, LLC. In this capacity, Ms. Pellegrin is responsible for advising and overseeing the Appeals and Balance Bill division of the Member Advocacy department. She also leads the Provider Relations team which engages in contract negotiation with providers and facilities, as well as assists members with specific service needs.
Ms. Pellegrin joined ClaimDOC in January 2016. Prior to this, she was a civil litigator at a large firm in the Des Moines area. While in private practice, she specialized in employment and business litigation, as well as transactional work.
Ms. Pellegrin earned her law degree with high honors from Drake University in 2011 and received her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Kansas in 2006. She resides in Des Moines, IA with her husband, Nick, her son, Everett, and her daughter, Avalyn.
Jocelyn Hermanson serves as Head Nurse Auditor of ClaimDOC, LLC. In this capacity, Ms. Hermanson is responsible for managing and reviewing medical claims for billing accuracy and medical necessity.
Prior to joining ClaimDOC, Ms. Hermanson worked for a large health system in an auditing role as well. Additional experience encompasses various aspects of healthcare auditing including: lost charge, RAC, Medicare, Medicaid, Quality Management, Revenue Cycle, and denials.
Ms. Hermanson received her nursing diploma from Mercy School of Nursing and completed her BSN at Western Governors University. She currently resides in Johnston with her husband, Walt, and she has two grown children, Jake and Katie.
